NaruSaku: The 1st Date

            Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke were just finishing up their mission for the day with Kakashi."All right everybody,
see you the day after." said as he dissapeared out of  sight. "So Sausuke, did you want to do something or go out
sometime?" Sakura asked. "No thanks. I've got stuff to do' plus I wouldn't want to anyway." Sausuke said with an
emo tone, and Naruto heard him. "Oh..... okay" Sakura said as Sausuke started walking in the other direction.

            Sakura started crying. "Why won't he give me a chance?" she thought. This was Naruto's chance. He
walked up to her and said: "Sakura, I could do something with you, if you don't mind." She stopped crying and
looked up at bright blue eyes. "Seriously, you'd go out with me?" she said. "Of course!" he said back to her. "I'm
like Sausuke, turning down down everybody that ask me out." Sakura was dumbstruck. She usually saw him as
the knucklehead of the village.

           Only one word came out of her mouth: "Okay!" she said happliy. Naruto was so happy, he did several
backflips. All Sakura could do was stand there and laugh. "Okay, okay!!" she said laughing, trying to calm him
down, then he finally stopped. "So, what time did you want to pick me up?" she asked. "Uhhh......hmmmmmm."
Naruto said out of breath. "What time was good for you?" "How about 7:00 tonight?" Sakura asked. "Okay!" Naruto
said back. "I'll see you later on tonight!" he said as he ran down down the street.

           "What is wrong with you?!?!" her inner-self yelled in her mind. "This is Naruto we're talking about!" "Oh come
on." her regular self said."Just give him a chance, please? He's a really nice guy once you get to know him."Okay,
okay, fine!" her inner-self agreed. "But just this once!" "Thank you." regular Sakura said back in her mind as she
walked home to get ready ready for her date.

           6:50 P.M.

           
           Naruto was almost at Sakurais home, until he saw a Cherry Blssom tree. "Hmmmm......" Naruto said as he
stopped. "She'd probaly like flowers." He then picked a few flowers from the tree. "Ahhh." he said as took a whiff. "They
smell just like Sakura." He then looked at his watch and saw that he had five minutes before his date started. "Oh, man,
I'd better hurry!" he said as he started to jump from building to building. "Ah, I made it, with two minutes to spare!" he
said to himeself.

           Sakura was almost done getting ready for her date until the doorbell rang. "Sakura?" Naruto said thorugh the door.
"Oh, it's just Naruto." Sakura said to herself. She opened the door and there Naruto was with Cherry Blossoms, and his
face a tomato red. Sakura then smilied. "What are you blushing about?" she said with a playful tone. "Oh, ummm.......
n-nothing." Naruto stammered. He then gave Sakura the flowers. "Awww, thank you<, Naruto." He then blushed another
shade of tomato red.

           "So......" Sakura started to say first. "What did you want to first?" Naruto then stratched his head and said. "I dunno.
Do you want to get something to eat from Ichiraku's Ramen Shop from downtown?" "Yeah, sure!" se said. Naruto then
smiled a dumb grin. "Great, let's go!" Naruto said.

           Downtown in Kohana........


           "Well, if is isn't my best customer, Naruto!" Ichiraku said as Naruto and Sakura walked into the ramen shop. "Hey
yourself, Ichiraku!" Naruto said with a smile. "So what can I get you two lovebirds tonight?" Ichiraku asked the two. They then
looked at each other and blushed a shade of red. "Uhhhhhh........I-I'll have a b-beef r-ramen." Naruto stuttered. "I-I'll have the
s-shrimp r-ramen." Sakura stuttured also. Ichiraku just smiled.

          "Okay, I need one beef and one shrimp ramen!!" Ichiraku shouted. While Naruto and Sakura were wating for their ramen,
Naruto and Sakura were talking about random things.

          "So Sakura, why did you always ignore me everytime when I asked you out?" Naruto asked. Sakura didn't know what to
say, but all she said was: "I just didn't know how good a person you were, because you were always acting stupid and immature
when you were near me when you were on missions." "So, what are you trying to say?" Naruto asked. "All I'm saying is that I finally
realized how good of person you are." she said.

          "Here's your ramen kids!" Ichiraku said, handing them their bowls. Naruto reached for his bowl and got it, but Sakura hurt her
hands by touching touching the bowl, but as it was falling, Naruto caught the bowl of ramen before it hit the ground. As he put it back
on the table, he noticed Sakura's hands were starting to hurt. "Hold on Sakura. Give me your hands." Then Naruto used a special jutsu
on her signed hands. Then as he finished, Naruto and Sakura realized that they were holding hands. "Oh! I'm sorry!" Naruto said looking
away.

          "It's okay, Naruto." Sakura said. "You healed my hands, so I could be thankful." Naruto turned back around, who was still red. "Hey,
lets eat now." said Naruto. "Okay!" said Sakura. One to two hours later, Naruto paid for both of their meals, and Naruto walked Sakura home.

          10:00 P.M.

          
         "So Sakura, what did you think of our date tonight?" Naruto asked. "I liked it!" she said. The she grabbed Naruto's hand and held it
close to her. Naruto then blushed and stared to sweat on his forehead. "Naruto...." Sakura said. "Hmm?" Naruto said back. "I've got two favors
to ask you." "Wh-what are they, Sakura?" Naruto asked. "First: Can I stay over at your house? It's too far to walk to mine and it's too late."
"Uh...sure." he said. "What was the second second question. Naruto asked. "Um....can you carry me on your back? I'm starting to get
sleepy."

        Naruto blushed redder and harder than ever, but he finally said: "Sure. No problem." "Thank you, Naruto." Sakura said. She got on his
back and Naruto helped her. Before Naruto knew it, Sakura had gone to sleep on his back.

        After a few minutes.......


       Naruto opened the door to his apartment, and layed Sakura gently on his bed. Naruto got changed into a white t-shirt, gray sweatpants,
socks, slippers and his childish nightcap. He was in the kitchen until he heard Sakura say in a drousy tone:"Naruto?"

       "Oh, you're up." Naruto said. "yeah, but barley." she said looking at Naruto. "So why don't you go back to sleep on my bed? I'll sleep on
the couch tonight." Naruto said to Sakura.

       "Well, Naruto......" Sakura started to say as she started to get closer and closer to Naruto, and pinning him to the wall. Naruto was sweating
all over and just staring at Sakura. "The thing is...... I don't want to sleep alone." Then the unexpected happened....... Sakura gently grabbed Naruto's
head and kissed him passionately! Naruto's eyes shot up from the surprising kiss, but then relaxed himself and kissed her back. After a few
seconds, they let go to catch their breath. Finally, Sakura said:"Well, come on, Naruto." Then she grabbed his hand and lead him into the living
room. The they got into the bed, turned off the lights and started to cuddle and kiss. "Sakura......" Naruto started to say after he stopped kissing
her. "Yes, Naruto?" she said. "I think I lo-" Sakura stopped him by putting a finger on his lips.

       "I love you to, Naruto." Sakura said back. Naruto smiled and so did Sakura. "Good night Sakura-chan." said Naruto. "Good Night Naruto-kun"
Sakura said back. Sakura then fell to sleep on Naruto's chest while Naruto thought: "This is the best night of my life." Then he drifted to sleep while
holding Sakura.
